The Change Management Foundation certificate comprises 50 multiple choice questions that need to be completed within 40 minutes and it is a closed book exam. The Change Management Practitioner certificate comprises 4 objective questions, 20 marks each based on case study scenarios that need to be completed in a duration of 2.5 hours, and is a restricted open book exam with access to only effective change manager’s handbook. Passing marks for both the certification is 50%.
To obtain the Change Management certification, you can get enrolled with an ATO of APMG International or you can self study and book the exam from anywhere. After scheduling the exam, you need to pass the exam with a minimum of 50%. After passing the certification, you will get the certificate from APMG international within 7-10 days.
The foundation certification is valid for a lifetime however the validity of Change Management Practitioner certification is 5 years.
There is no need to renew the Change Management Foundation certificate. The Change Management Practitioner certification needs to be renewed within 3-5 years following their previous exam by giving a re-registration exam comprising 2 objective case scenario-based questions of 20 marks. It is a restricted open book exam with access to Effective Change Manager’s Handbook. The passing marks for this exam are 50%
